Wen Guohui, mayor of Guangzhou, met with Finnish Ambassador to China Jarno Syrjala in Guangzhou on March 16.
Wen said that the cooperation between Guangzhou and Finnish cities such as Tampere in areas spanning education and energy has been deepened, and that two of the first China-Finland energy cooperation demonstration projects have settled down in Guangzhou's Nansha district.

Syrjala said that Finnish companies in Guangzhou are now operating smoothly and they are very satisfied with Guangzhou's business environment. He said that he hopes the Guangzhou government can continue to give support and help for Finnish companies in Guangzhou, and that both sides can expand mutual cooperation.
