Incomers from Baiyun Airport and Shenzhen Bay will be transferred to 8 cities

To ease the pressure on Guangzhou and Shenzhen from inbound arrivals and quarantine, inbound passengers entering from Baiyun Airport and Shenzhen Bay will be diverted to eight cities.

Inbound arrivals entering from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport will be distributed to Foshan, Qingyuan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing, while those from Shenzhen Bay Port will be distributed to Dongguan, Huizhou, Shanwei and Zhongshan.

Entry from airport: Board with a nucleic acid and IgM antibody test; follow "14+7" policy upon arrivals; all passengers must have four nucleic acid tests within 21 days.

Entry from Hong Kong: Shenzhen Bay Port has a daily entry limit of 2,000 people; Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has a limit of 240 people per day. All require negative nucleic acid test results taken within the preceding 24 hours.

Entry from Macao: All entries require negative nucleic acid testing results within the preceding seven days.

Starting from November 2020, Guangzhou and Shenzhen airports have stopped adding inbound flights, and have tightened inbound charter flights and fast lanes. A total of 60 flights have been halted.

Currently, there are 62 inbound flights per week: 53 into Guangzhou and nine into Shenzhen. The average number of inbound passengers per day remains at around 1,800.

No units shall organize galas or group dinners; family gatherings are limited to 10 people or less

Guangdong requires arrivals from high-risk areas to report to the community or hotel where they live within 12 hours of arriving in Guangdong. Staff in key industries shall show a nucleic acid testing certificate taken during the preceding seven days.

In principle, no unit shall organize large-scale activities like group visits, parties, dinners or training during the Spring Festival. Activities with more than 50 people must strictly follow relevant procedures. The host must formulate epidemic prevention and control work plans and emergency plans, and report to the administration authority.

The Health Commission of Guangdong Province advises that the public exercises protection measures, and family gatherings should be limited to 10 people or less.

Over 2,100 public cultural venues open for free

As for travelling during the Spring Festival, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province suggests that tourists should make reservations before visiting scenic spots and cultural venues.

Guangdong has more than 2,100 public cultural venues including libraries, cultural centers, museums, towns and local cultural stations. During the Spring Festival, these cultural venues will be open to the public for free.

Travel agencies and online tourism companies are not allowed to organize group tours to medium or high risks areas. Guangdong encourages travel within the city or surrounding places in the province. To visit tourist attractions above 4A level, tourists can make appointments via the mini-program "Yue You Wan".
