The signing ceremony of sister-school relationships in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao was held in Guangzhou on Dec 6, forging 38 pairs of sister schools.

The project of forging sister-school relationships in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao was first signed by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the Education Bureau of Hong Kong, and the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of Macao in 2005. Currently, the project has become the biggest interschool exchange project in basic education in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

A total of 21 pairs of sister schools were newly forged this year, increasing the total number of sister-school pairs of Guangzhou schools to 271, covering kindergarten, primary and secondary schools, as well as secondary vocational schools.
