The 2020 China Overseas Talent Exchange Conference and the 22nd Guangzhou Science and Technology Exchange Conference of Chinese Students Studying Abroad is scheduled to take place from Dec 18 to 19.

This year's event will set up its on-site main venue in Guangzhou, spanning over 25,000 square meters. It will have more than 10 special exhibition areas for over 1,200 projects, as well as organize over 10 professional forums and activities.

Online venues will be available during this year's event to offer services like smart exhibitions, project matchmaking, live streaming of forums, and online recruitment with the help of the new digital information technologies, allowing more people to participate in the event.

 Sub-venues will be set up in areas like the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Israel, and the San Francisco Bay Area to establish an all-around communication platform for overseas talents to learn more about China's innovation and entrepreneurship environment, preferential policies, as well as scientific innovation outcomes.

At present, nearly 3,000 overseas talents with around 3,500 projects from 23 countries and regions, including Canada, the United States, Australia, and the UK, have applied to participate in the event. 

Renowned companies including Huawei, Evergrande, Midea, Huafa Group, and HSBC will attend the event, bringing more than 20,000 job vacancies.
