Limburg donates books to Guangzhou Library to mark friendship

An event to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Guangdong province and the province of Limburg in Belgium was held at Guangzhou Library on Nov 18.

The province of Limburg donated a batch of picture albums to Guangzhou Library during the event. It has donated more than 1,000 books to Guangdong province since 2015 and the library has set up a special bookshelf to display them.

More exchanges and cooperation between the two provinces will be carried out in areas spanning libraries and museums.

Luc Truyens, the Belgian consul general in Guangzhou, outlined a cooperation project on future technology between Hasselt University and Guangdong University of Technology.
