The mayor's roundtable conference on smart cities of Kazan Digital Week 2020 was held online on Sept 23, with Lin Daoping, vice mayor of Guangzhou, delivering a speech on the city's experience in smart transportation construction.

Held from Sept 21 to 24 in Kazan, Russia, Kazan Digital Week 2020 was expected to establish new international markets for smart mobile devices, systems, and transportation.

Lin's speech focused on making innovations in smart transportation construction and enhancing vitality in urban development. He also detailed Guangzhou's achievements and experiences in establishing urban smart transportation networks, promoting international communication and cooperation. 

Other participants of the conference also included leaders of cities like Chengdu in Sichuan province, Xi'an in Shaanxi province, Hangzhou in Zhejiang province, Jinan in Shandong province, Izmir of Turkey, and Chisinau of Moldova, as well as the secretary general of the Asian Mayors Forum.
