Hu Hong, vice mayor of Guangzhou and member of the standing committee of the CPC Guangzhou municipal committee, met with the delegation led by Joerg Wuttke, president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, in Guangzhou on Aug 3.

Opinions on enhancing cooperation between companies in Guangzhou and the EU were exchanged.

Hu said that Guangzhou boasts a complete industrial system, clusters rich innovation resources, and has an excellent business environment. 

Hu expressed his hope that the chamber can encourage European companies to grasp the development opportunities in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and strengthen cooperation with Guangzhou.
