An exhibition showcasing a total of 173 sets of delicate cultural relics from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) from Pingwu county in Sichuan province opened on July 24 at the Archaeological Site Museum of Nanyue Palace in Guangzhou, running until Oct 15.

The exhibition is being jointly held by the Archaeological Site Museum of Nanyue Palace, Sichuan Museum, the Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics and Archeology Research Institute, Mianyang Museum, as well as the Bao'en Temple of Sichuan Pingwu.

The cultural relics on display, such as gold, silver, jade, and ceramics, fully showcase the political and cultural charms of the Tusi in Pingwu during the Ming Dynasty. The Tusi were leaders appointed by the central government to tribal domains in the mountainous areas of Southwest China.
