Gao Yuyue, deputy secretary general of the Guangzhou municipal government, met with the delegation led by Christophe Cizeron, CEO of Venues Division at GL Events, through an online video conference held on June 17.

Founded in 1978 and based in Lyon, France, GL Events is a world-class provider of integrated solutions and services for event operations.

Issues like boosting the development of Guangzhou's meetings industry, as well as promoting the communication and cooperation between Guangzhou and GL Events were discussed during the conference.

Participants of the conference also included Siv-Leng Chhuor, consul general of France in Guangzhou, Tu Hongzhe, the first-level consultant of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, Hu Rui, deputy general manager of Guangzhou City Construction Investment Group, Xu Jian, an official from the Guangzhou municipal industry and information technology bureau, as well as Chen Donglian, an official from the Guangzhou municipal commerce bureau.
