Guangzhou has paid great attention to the situations in the cities it has friendly city relationships with around the world since the global outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The first batch of medical supplies for COVID-19 epidemic control and prevention for 12 friendly cities have all arrived by March 23, while the second batch of supplies for 18 other cities have all arrived by April 27.

These supplies, which have been donated by Guangzhou, not only relieved the shortage of medical supplies in these cities, but also showcased the care and support from Guangzhou residents.

Guangzhou has made it clear that the city will keep teaming up with its friendly cities to overcome the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic in the future.
