Guangzhou's Baiyun district will launch a project on supporting Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan youths to start internships in the district, Guangzhou Daily reported on April 7.
The project will make full use of the resources in Baiyun, including hi-tech companies and social organizations, to provide 200 internship opportunities that last for one to two months in the summer.
Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan youths that meet standards can enjoy the privilege of finding long-term internship opportunities in areas spanning the new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence, aviation service, medicine, and equipment manufacturing that will start from July this year and last for six months.
Internship subsidies are available for youths by the Baiyun district committee of the Communist Youth League of China. Technical training will be provided for youths before internship and certain awards will also be rewarded for those who have achieved outstanding performances after their internship.
