Guangzhou's Nansha district has signed a five-year strategic cooperation framework agreement with Foshan's Nanhai district to promote coordinated innovative development on March 27.
The two districts will team up in building an open regional community in coordinated innovative development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, allowing the high-level connectivity of markets in the region and the efficient flow of various resources to bring more convenience for local residents.
A total of 12 detailed cooperation projects were listed in the agreement, covering areas like system innovation and cooperation among dominant industries.
Dali in Nanhai district will be set as the pilot zone for the cooperation between the two districts.
Cai Chaolin, Party chief of Nansha district, stated that the agreement is an important sign for the deeper cooperation between Nansha and Nanhai. The two sides will further deepen cooperation and communication in the implementation of the agreement to achieve mutually beneficial results.
Yan Haobo, Party chief of Nanhai district, noted that the cooperation between the two sides will greatly contribute to the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
