The opinion collection for the detailed rules and regulations for encouraging and supporting Hong Kong and Macao youths to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship in Guangzhou's Nansha has started and will end on March 9.

Hong Kong and Macao youths participating in the internship project launched by the Nansha district government can receive a one-time reward of 3,000 yuan ($431.71) as long as they perform well.

Hong Kong and Macao youths that have worked in Nansha for over one year or have started a business in Nansha for over one year can receive a subsidy of up to 30,000 yuan, as well as those carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship in the area after obtaining their masters' or doctors' degrees at universities on the Chinese mainland.

A one-time reward of 3,000 yuan is available for those who have signed labor contracts of more than one year for the first time with Nansha employers and have passed the probation period.

Those who have signed labor contracts of more than two year for the first time with Nansha employers will be able to receive a one-time reward of 10,000 yuan as long as they have worked in Nansha for more than one year, and the reward amount will increase to 50,000 yuan for special talents from Hong Kong and Macao.

Companies established by Hong Kong and Macao youths in Nansha for more than one year can receive a subsidy of 20 percent of the taxes the companies have handled for the first time, with the subsidy available up to 100,000 yuan.

Companies that have won investments of more than 5 million yuan in two years since their establishment can recieve a one-time reward of 500,000 yuan as long as the company's annual operating income was over 5 million yuan in 2019, as well as has more than five employees from Hong Kong or Macao.

Companies established by Hong Kong and Macao youths in Nansha renting places for offices and their operations can receive a subsidy of up to 80 yuan per square meter every month, with a maximum yearly subsidy of 200,000 yuan. The subsidy in a year should be lower than the actual rent amount.

Hong Kong and Macao youths working in Nansha can each receive a 1,500 yuan subsidy for rent and transportation every month for one year.

Companies in Nansha offering free reception for more than 1,000 Hong Kong and Macao youths every year can receive a reward of up to 100,000 yuan. Referrers organizing more than 20 Hong Kong and Macao youths for internships can receive a one-time reward of 20,000 yuan as long as they introduce youths to participate in youth development promotion associations of Hong Kong or Macao in Nansha.

Employers hiring Hong Kong and Macao youths can receive a one-time reward of 5,000 yuan, and those hiring special talents can receive 10,000 yuan. Referrers introducing special talents to Nansha for employment can receive a reward of 3,000 yuan each.
