Guangzhou HeyGears Intelligent Manufacturing Center Co Ltd and its investor Group 42 has donated emergency medical supplies to relieve the urgent need for them in Hubei's Wuhan and Guangdong, Nanfang Plus reported on Feb 7.
Group 42 is a company from the United Arab Emerites managing artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
The two sides have donated 50,000 N95 facial mask, 10,000 surgical masks, 2,000 pairs of surgical gloves, 10,000 surgical caps, and 1,000 goggles.
"Our first batch of supplies has arrived in Guangzhou, and we are organizing people to make an inventory of these goods, so that they can be transported to Wuhan as soon as possible," said a person in charge of Guangzhou HeyGears Intelligent Manufacturing Center Co Ltd, a pioneer in 3D printing application.
The person in charge noted that more supplies will continuously arrive in Guangzhou.
In addition, other listed companies in Guangzhou, such as GF Securities, GAC Group, Guangzhou Phar. Holdings, and Yuexiu Property, have donated more than 160 million yuan ($22.98 million) through various forms, such as funds, pharmaceutical products, and supplies.
