An exhibition on consular protection and assistance is being held at Guangzhou Library.
The exhibition, which takes place from Jan 9 to 19 in the venue's basement, is being held by the People's Government of Guangdong Province together with the foreign affairs office of Guangzhou municipal government and Guangzhou Library.
The exhibition has been divided into two parts, namely overseas safety knowledge and precautions and also Guangdong's movements in preventative publicity and emergency response.
Visitors are able to find answers to various problems such as losing passports overseas, being caught in telecom fraud abroad and having sudden illness abroad.
The exhibition is expected to help locals to get a deep understanding about China's consular protection and assistance and be aware of overseas safety knowledge and precautions by displaying both graphic and text materials.
