The 2019 International Academic Exchange Conference on Science and Technology Innovation opened on December 21, attracting experts and scholars from both home and abroad. 

It was guided by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province.

As an inexhaustible force driving China's development, technological innovation has been a hot issue in efforts to turn the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into an international technological innovation center.

The conference has established a platform for international academic communication to promote global technological innovation and development.

It focused on three parts of science and technology exchanges, namely international technological communication, industry-university-research cooperation, as well as talent achievements transformation.

Keynote speeches covering various cutting-edge fields like information technology, artificial intelligence, the airport economy, biomedicine, big data, new energy, and new materials were delivered during the conference.

Four signing ceremonies for strategic cooperation contracts were also held, including the one signed between the Asia-Pacific Innovation Economic Research Institute and Guangzhou KEO Information Technology Co Ltd.
