Forty items on UNESCO's World Intangible Cultural Heritage List were put on display at an intangible cultural heritage fair in Guangzhou on June 8.

The activity was held to mark this year's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day. Since 2006, China has been celebrating Cultural Heritage Day on the second Saturday of June. In 2017, it was renamed Cultural and Natural Heritage Day.

The fair was held at Guangzhou Urban Planning and Exhibition Center. It included exhibitions, shows, lectures, and forums to highlight the protection and development of intangible cultural heritages in China.
