An exhibition was held at Guangzhou Library recently to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci.

The exhibition was hosted by Guangzhou Library and the Italian Consulate General in Guangzhou. It featured high definition electronic copies of 17 of the world-renowned painter's works. The original works have been collected at the Louvre Museum in France, the Uffizi Gallery in Italy, and the Vatican Museums.

The exhibition will only be held in Guangzhou and Beijing. It will last until June 22. Local artists from Guangzhou were invited to Guangzhou Library on June 8 and 9. They will return on June 15 to help visitors better appreciate the works.
