More than 3,000 teenagers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will engage in a seven-month cultural exchange event launched by Guangzhou.

According to the organizers, this year's activity will continue to invite students to share their special stories in the Greater Bay Area. Youth art exhibitions displaying Cantonese culture will also be held. In addition, a Canton Fair will be set up where intangible cultural heritages like Guangcai ceramics, Guangxiu embroidery, and costume-making techniques will be displayed.

Experiencing the intangible cultural heritages and handicraft making will help the young people of the Greater Bay Area trace the cultural origin while enhancing their cultural memory, according to Ren Tianhua, deputy director of Guangzhou municipal culture, radio, television and tourism bureau.
