Guangzhou Development District (GDD) signed a cooperation agreement on Oct 25 with internet company CASICloud, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC).

According to the agreement, a regional center for industrial big data will be built in GDD to promote the integration and upgrading of internet plus manufacturing industry.

The National Engineering Lab for Big Data Application is the only supporting organization in China committed to research and development as well as innovation of industrial big data. The lab is also dedicated to promoting the development of the industrial big data and solving major related obstacles.

The project will center on the construction of a big data analysis and artificial intelligence technological innovation center, an industrial sensor development center and Pearl River Delta industrial base.
